HAPPI Program: Information for Lenders
The City of Shreveport Department of Community Development’s Homebuyer’s Assistance Program Participation Initiative (HAPPI) provides homebuyers with up to $10,000 in down payment, interest rate buy down, and closing cost assistance. The City of Shreveport and Catholic Charities partner together to ensure that those eligible for the HAPPI program are able to participate and receive assistance to purchase their first home.

Once a packet has been submitted, Catholic Charities will ensure it has been completed in full and send it to the City for approval. Lenders will receive a response from the City of Shreveport within seven business days of submitting a completed packet.
Lender Meetings & Approvals
Catholic Charities and the City of Shreveport will co-host quarterly meetings with all approved lenders. Please ensure your contact information is up-to-date on our approved lenders list to receive calendar invitations via email.
